Façade: a word in English that's written with ç

If you don't know, the letter ç is not only found in Portuguese. You can also find it in Turkish and Russian. What maybe you didn't expect is that there's a word English speakers use containing the letter ç: façade.

If you look up its meaning, you'll see that it's mostly used as a technical term for engineering and architecture when it means frontage, the principal face of a building. But the interesting thing about that word is that it can also be used in a metaphorical way if you're referring to a pretending front that may deceive one because it's artificial. Take a look at this example: "Let´s  drop our façades and deep down, talk over this matter”. I hope this helps. Talk to you next time!
