So one day you go up to your brother and ask him what's happening with your parents that don't criticize you anymore. Your brother thinks they're acting weird too, but he doesn't think it's a good idea to ask them what's going on and why they don't care for things that would normally make them really mad. Here's what he tells you as a piece of advice: If they haven't said a thing about everything you've done so far, just let sleeping dogs lie.
When you let sleeping dogs lie, you do not talk about things that have caused problems in the past to avoid causing any kind of problem in the present; you do not instigate trouble and leave something or someone alone if they might cause problem. So maybe your parents aren't paying attention to your misbehaving because they're very busy with other things. If you talk about it and draw their attention to your behavior, maybe they'll start complaining about everything like they used to. That's it for today. I hope this is helpful. Talk to you next time!
