English with T-Shirts #1

Today I went shopping with my aunt and while we were going through so many t-shirts, I thought why not make a few posts on some of the coolest t-shirts quotes I saw there. So I took a lot of pictures of the best t-shirts at the store and now I want to talk about one at a time. So here's the first post of a series called "English with T-shirt quotes".

Today we have the t-shirt quote you can see to your left. What are the words you know from that quote? Better yet, do you know what they all have in common? If you said they all come from the same idea, you're right. But we have adjectives and nouns and of course there's a specific kind of context each one better fits in. For example, what can we call dreary or overcast? A day can be dreary, the weather can be overcast, the night, the morning, etc. Murk is a noun, but can also be an adjective. For example, the murk of the rainy evening; or the clouds today are very murk. Try to find collocations of each and everyone of those words and create sentences with them. You'll see how much we can learn from a simple walk at the mall! Stick around for more!
