Last week I came down with the flu and had to spend a few day laying in bed. It was pretty boring but soon I got better and managed to be back in the swim of things. When you are in the swim of things, you're involved with different things, with your natural routine. When something like an illness keeps you from being in the swim of the things, your routine no longer works.
As a second example, I am now working on a monograph from college. When I really dig into it and start reading and writing pages and pages, I'll no longer be in the swim of things because I'll be too busy working on my monograph. There are many reasons for you not to be able to get into the swim of things. Tell me in the comment section what are the things that sometimes keep you from getting into the swim of things.
